LOGIN to ParentVue /StudentVue to access grades (Portland Public Schools online grading program). This allows students and parents to check progress in all classes and subject areas. Do not expect instantaneous feedback. Realize that writing work samples and layered research based projects take teachers hours outside of the workday and weekends to score.
"Better late than never but never late is better.”
If you miss the turn in date, you have the option of turning it in late (after one week 10% is deducted daily). Deadline to turn late work for a given content topic for partial credit is PRIOR to the final assessment (example Middle Age Character Journal must be turned in before the Final Exam on the Middle Ages). The goal is to be focused on the learning tasks that are current.
